It is important that a bridle fits the horse, not only so that it looks nice, but so that the horse is comfortable. A horse that is comfortable and happy will perform better. With careful choice of style, a well fitting bridle can enhance the look of a horse and this is especially important in the show ring.

Fitted correctly the bridle should be fitted on the centre holes, allowing plenty of adjustment and with the buckles sitting in line with the horse’s eye. The bridle must suit the purpose it is intended for. A show pony would require a fine bridle with perhaps a ribbon covered browband, whereas a hunter would be much better suited with a broad plain workman like bridle.

The bespoke bridlework covers a vast range of items from Ridden/Inhand Bridles and Stock Halters to Dog Collars, Belts and Light Leathergoods (eg boxwork or cases). As with the Off the Peg Range, only top quality materials (English Leather) and fittings are used for the bridlework and it is hand stitched (except the centre lay on girths, breastplates etc) for added strength and durability.
